How it works
Breakeven strike rate is just the implied probability of your average price: one divided by the decimal odds. Below that rate, you lose money in the long run at this price even though you might still be "right" more than you are wrong on paper.
Edge is your actual rate minus that breakeven line. Implied ROI multiplies the two together — your rate times the decimal price, minus one — the same shape as an expected-value calculation, just built from results instead of a probability estimate.
Worked example
| Bets won / lost | 55 / 45 |
| Average price | 2.00 (+100) |
| Strike rate | 55.0% |
| Breakeven rate | 50.0% |
| Edge | +5.0% |
| Implied ROI | +10.0% |
